Uterus: 1* would return

Periods.

Sore boobs, cramps, heartburn, so many sanitary products and so much blood!
Ok, not that much but it depends you know...

What are your top tips for dealing with periods?
Mine aren't THAT bad, I know people that get it worse. When mine come it is definitely an excuse for being curled up with a nice hot water bottle and a big bar of chocolate. The worse part is normally the day before when I get really bad lower back pain and the week leading up when my boobs feel like balls of lead - similar to those heavy balls you used in shotput at sports day.

If you google "things to help periods" the first thing that pops up is exercise, I am not joking go and look. Now I am not being funny but I don't exercise on a normal day and I am sure not going to do it when the red river is a flowing.

This is your time to deal with how you feel fit. What matters is your mental and physical health. People are going to tell you different things but at the end of the day, like with everything IT IS YOUR BODY. If you want to lie there and hibernate with multiple bars of dairy milk and your partner making you hot water bottles whilst you binge more Netflix, go for it! If you feel better exercising,  whether it be something slow like yoga or running a marathon, do it!

Only you will know what will help, listen to your body and take it in your stride because next month, its gonna happen again x
